6 Cop Cars Track Down Amanda Bynes

Hollywood actress allegedly nicks car, keeps on driving

(Newser) – At least she didn't sideswipe a cop car this time. But according to police, Amanda Bynes grazed a pick-up truck with her Range Rover in LA yesterday and kept on driving, People reports. The other driver's 911 call prompted a police response—to the tune of six police cars and an LAPD police helicopter. The cops stopped Bynes but filed no charges, saying the damage "was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone." Bynes, who appeared sober, politely exchanged insurance information with the other driver ... and pulled out into traffic.

6 police cars AND a helicopter. Sounds like where I live.  5 cars will respond to a dog bite and stand around talking while 6 armed home invasions are in progress somewhere else.

They should have to display the tax bill for that little venture. 6 Police cars and a helicopter for hit and run where no one was injured? either the driver of the other car should be arrested for a false report, or the person making budget decisions in the department needs to be fired, along with the mayor.
