Romney to Obama: Let's Go Waterskiing

GOP candidate would prefer to stay off the links

(Newser) – Sounds like this presidential race could be decided at sea. Asked if he's as "hip" as Barack Obama, Mitt Romney said he'd skip out on golf with the president—but "I'll be happy to take him through a waterski course." Speaking on Fox News yesterday, he added, "we have different skills and different interests and different hobbies." The AFP calls it another "tone-deaf" comment emphasizing his riches, adding to a list that includes Romney's mentions of his wife's Cadillacs and his close friends who own NASCAR teams.

Why Mr. Romney? How do you think that can help your campaign? Are you a President's friend maybe? Americans are positive that you are far better reality show performer than a politician but that's not what people need. You may collect whatever money from your rich donors and you may be able to finance your expensive campaign but to tell you honestly Sir, at the end, people will vote, people will say the final words and those words will not contain your name. You don't really understand your fellow citizens, aren't you? You have terrible advisers Sir.
