(AP) – A good friend has your back—and your leg? That was apparently the case in northern New York, where authorities say a man shot his friend in the leg with a rifle because said friend wanted to know what it feels like to be shot. State police say the shooting occurred around 5pm Sunday in the rural town of Stockholm when 25-year-old Shawn Mossow relented to his friend's repeated requests and shot him once in the right leg with a .22-caliber rifle. The unnamed 24-year-old is expected to make a full recovery. Mossow was charged with reckless endangerment and is being held in the county jail on $10,000 bail.

Ready, aim, experiment! (This is not the friend in question.)

The dumb ass should have had balls enough to shoot himself if he was that much of an idiot! He's the one that should be in jail. Trouble is, being an idiot isn't illegal.

I don't like this much. As stupid as it is, I think the guy is free to do what he wants. That his friend is being held is pretty stupid.
