Nickelodeon Mulls Teen-Sex Special

Cable net grapples with response to its biggest star's big revelation

(Newser) – In the fallout surrounding the pregnancy of its biggest star, Jamie Lynn Spears, Nickelodeon may air a special on teen sex as early as next month, People reports. The special’s potential host, Linda Ellerbee, said it could be “a great opportunity for parents at this moment to talk to their kids about this—more important, to listen to their kids about this.”

Nickelodeon has issued a statement supporting the 16-year-old “Zoey 101” star, who’s pregnant with the child of 18-year-old Casey Aldridge. The network hasn’t announced changes to its plans to air the fourth and final season of the show in February. Meanwhile, the New York Post reports that Aldridge wants to marry Spears.
