(Newser) – HBO's Real Sports puts the focus on US track Olympian Lolo Jones tonight, and the teaser it released today is certainly doing the trick of drawing attention. In it, the 29-year-old explains that she intends to remain a virgin until marriage because it's a "gift I want to give my husband," notes People.

"This journey has been hard," she says in the interview. "It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than studying for college has been staying a virgin before marriage." She's even had guys tell her that she'll run faster if she gives in. So far, she hasn't, and she thinks that's part of the reason she's still looking for a boyfriend.

How tough it is to remain a virgin would vary person to person, depending on a individual's will power. Regardless, I salute this young lady for sticking to her convictions and am proud to be represented at the Olympics by her.

Wow!  The majority of these comments are very judgmental.  If she wants to stay a virgin until she's married, she should do it.  The man she's going to marry should accept her for who she is and respect her personal decisions. Her decision obviously isn't for all people.  If you want a woman with experience, than find a woman with experience.  Don't condemn people who don't share your viewpoint or personal preferences.

One would think that a woman who has spent much of her life practicing to be the best hurdler in the world would apply the same logic to her sex life, and practice to be the best sex partner she can be.  Now THAT would be a gift for her future husband.
