(Newser) – You can't box in Andy Samberg. One of the most popular members of Saturday Night Live is leaving the show after a seven-year run, reports the AP. Samberg joins Kristen Wiig, who already announced she was leaving SNL. Samberg is best known for his digital shorts, starting with "Lazy Sunday" in December 2005 (about watching the Chronicles of Narnia in the afternoon), and including "Iran So Far Away" and three raunchy songs with Justin Timberlake.

I don't know one character he's played on that show.    I thought Adam Sandler was the last of that type to go thru SNL. (the jewish standup comedian)
