Titanic Song Makes Me Sick Too: Celine Dion

Kate Winslet wasn't the only one

(Newser) – Even Celine Dion can't stand that darned song anymore, the New York Post reports. The singer of "My Heart Will Go On," the ubiquitous ballad that accompanied Titanic, said on Today this morning that "if I just count how many times I've sung it, maybe it'll get me sick." Dion was responding to a remark by Titanic actor Kate Winslet, who said the tune makes her "feel like throwing up." Said Dion: "If she feels tired just hearing it, and like throwing up, I'm glad she was not the one singing it."

It's a good song that was perfectly chosen for the situation. Get over it.

I don't hear any other mega stars from box office smashes making this kind of comment.   Celine Dion and Kate Winslet were not saying this when they were raking in the millions and the theme song was being played everywhere.  Both of them need to take some lessons in humility and appologize to the composer of this song.

You know, Celine, you don't HAVE to milk your career for every last dollar in Vegas.    You COULD just tour at your leisure and pick your own songs.   How much money is enough?
