'Rock of Ages,' Adam Sandler's 'That's My Boy' open weak

(Newser) – Veteran stars Tom Cruise and Adam Sandler aren't breaking any box office records this weekend, Huffington Post reports. Cruise's much-hyped Rock of Ages banked just $15 million, behind Madagascar 3's $35.5 million and Prometheus' $20.2 million. Snow White and the Huntsman took fourth with $13.8 million, followed by Sandler's R-rated comedy That's My Boy, which made a paltry $13 million—Sandler's most anemic debut with the Happy Madison production company since Little Nicky 12 years ago.

Cruise cruises. Is that why he and Travolta are such Scientology freaks? Are they trying to get cured of being gay? Maybe they should go visit Michele Bachmann's husband. I read somewhere that at one time Scientology had convinced him he was the Messiah.

sorry - i can only remember cruise and his rant about psychiatric drugs and of course his jumping up and down on oprah's couch. has been. been there done that.
