Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis Split

His publicist confirms it

(Newser) – Deny, deny, confirm: Johnny Depp's publicist has verified to Entertainment Tonight that the actor has indeed split with Vanessa Paradis. The statement is short, typical, and a tiny bit heart-wrenching: "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children." Depp, 49, and Paradis, 39, have been together since 1998, notes Fox News. They have two children together.

They kept their private lives pretty well under wraps, and being together for that long is a feat these days. Somewhat saddened (plus, love Depp as an actor!).
