Ann Curry just celebrated her one-year anniversary as co-host of the Today show, but it looks like she won't be around for a second. The network is fixing to replace her, reports the New York Times. The show has dipped in the ratings since Curry replaced Meredith Vieira, and NBC is trying to ease her into a different position at the network, perhaps as a reporter, writes Brian Stelter. One name mentioned as a possible successor is Savannah Guthrie. The Huffington Post thought it was odd that Curry didn't accompany Matt Lauer to Britain to cover the queen's Diamond Jubilee. That plum assignment went to ... Vieira. (More Ann Curry stories.)
