Vince Young Now Officially Cursed

Young will appear on video game cover, risk bodily harm

(Newser) – Titans signal caller and former Longhorns phenom Vince Young will appear on the cover of Madden NFL 08, the newest edition of the wildly popular football video game. In so doing, he may be jeopardizing his career; appearances on the cover have historically led to injuries and heartbreak.

The last five Madden athletes were all sidelined during the season. "I am on the cover and I am not worried about the curse," announced Young, in an effort to soothe worried fans. He claimed to be honored by his selection, adding, "you know everyone plays Madden."
