YouTube Misfire Embarrasses Senate Hopeful

Richard Mourdock posts reactions to health care ruling, before it's happened

(Newser) – The GOP Senate candidate who knocked Dick Lugar out of the running last month got a bit too, er, efficient, with YouTube last week. Indiana hopeful Richard Mourdock's team accidentally posted four different reactions to an event that hasn't occurred yet: the Supreme Court's health law decision. One video applauds the law being overturned; one reacts to an upholding of the law, saying it was something "none of us thought could really happen," CNN reports.

Another video shows his reaction to the court upholding part of the law, while the fourth shows his reaction to the justices deciding to skip a decision. "Richard Mourdock's bush league mistake is embarrassing because it reveals the truth: He's all about politics, not solving serious problems for Hoosier families," the state Democratic Party said, calling the posts a "'Choose-Your-Own-Adventure'-style response." But Mourdock's campaign says "all campaigns prepare comment ahead of time for an important Supreme Court decision like this." The videos were quickly taken down.

who cares? You would be stupid to think that multiple speeches are not written before hand for various outcomes. No matter the party. I rather have someone in office who is prepared and well organized and thinks and prepares for multiple outcomes. I'm the most liberal guy ever, but this could of been a democrat just as easily. If you don't think that every senator/president does this your a fool.

Residents of Indiana, take note and vote accordingly.  You were fortunate to get a look behind the curtain.
