Oreo Rainbow Cookie Sparks Facebook Backlash

Let's just say some people were not real happy with the post

(Newser) – Oreo posted a picture of its iconic cookie with rainbow-colored filling to its Facebook feed last night, in honor of Gay Pride Day. A horrified Matt Stopera rounds up some of the ensuing controversy that erupted in the comments, writing on BuzzFeed, "This is the world we live in." Samples:

  • "No gay pride I boycott now"
  • "Being gay is totally wrong And should be a crime"

  • "gays need to leave america"
  • "Ok ; god told us to love and multiply fruitfuly . God hates gays ! If ur gay u can't 'multiply.'"
  • "i'll stick to black n white. f*** gay oreos."
  • "don't support gays or the companies that do, and hell yea i'm a hater!"

Liberty, Freedom, Democracy and liberal philosophy always win. Sometimes it takes a while but and the end they always win. Tyranny, Dictatorship, Autocracy, Religious slavery and conservative philosophy will disappear as they always were.

We are animals , just because we can work a tablet doesn't change anything Homosexuality is in the Animal Kingdom all throughout A straight person chooses to be straight? No But gay people make a choice? it's absurd ..Gay will, has and always exists. Keep believing in talking snakes, 99 year old people building Arcs and pregnant virgins..put your faith in that DO people actually stone their kids when they talk back? The bible thumpers pick and choose and always forget the basic principal of loving one another HATE HATE HATE? it's so ridiculous that flesh and bone who read parchment feel they know more? To hate someones sexual identity screams of a weird lack of personal sexual confidence Let people love who they choose in this hell suck world..
