Downed Turkish Pilots Found in Seabed

(AP) – The bodies of two pilots whose jet was shot down by Syria have been found in the seabed, according to Turkey's military. State-run TRT television says a US deep-sea exploration vessel found the bodies in the eastern Mediterranean today. Sky News notes that the Turkish military is currently working to recover them. Syrian forces shot down the RF-4 plane on June 22. Turkey says it was hit in international airspace while Syria insists it was flying inside Syrian airspace. US intelligence tends to side with Syria's version of events.

With all the state of the art counter measures that the Turkish F4 Phantom should have had on board, I'm surprised the Syrian's were able to shoot it down.  If this were a legitimate kill and if I were the Turks, I'd be concerned.

Akhhhh,they really are martyrs,they were on a training missing not knwing that turkey was using them as guine pigs. People should really open their eyes towards erdogan.his sons a murderer and his a hypocrite that uses religion to get votes,and most turkish people hate him, He also is trying his best to lie to cause and inflict war on syria since turkey is a part of the Nato alliance. He is basically trying to lie to get millions of innocent people to die,what a dickhole.

Is it just me, or does it sound odd to say they were found IN the seabed, rather than ON the seabed?  For instance, a man was found dead on the floor of his apartment, rather than found in the floor of his apartment.
