Sage Stallone: Dead in 'Disgusting' Room for Days

Housekeeper found him in room 'littered with junk'

(Newser) – Sage Stallone was dead for three or four days at least—maybe even a week—before the housekeeper found him in his room, TMZ reports. Sources say the room was "littered with junk," including food, soda cans, beer, cigarette butts, and drawers packed with pill bottles—some of them "huge." Apparently he led a reclusive life "like Howard Hughes" and hadn't spoken to anyone for a week.

What's more, the housekeeper had instructions to never knock on his door—much less clean the room—so the body wasn't found until yesterday. Sage's mom had told the housekeeper to check on him after Sage couldn't be reached. Law enforcement sources say the room is "disgusting," and deduce so far that Sage's death was an accident. It is unrealistic to expect a dead man to keep his room clean, or not to bloat and stink.

For those of you that are speaking of him as a child-he was not.  He was an adult.

i don't know sage. and in fact this is the first i've heard of him. but if he was living in a hovel and reclusive well where was the family? tragic. where was sly in his life? i have dogs that i have not let out of my sight. i worry about their well being. are they eating? well? too hot? ya know??? don't have a family but i would be tenacious in keeping contact with a family member struggling with life and living. what a shame. so young.
