Mexican police have busted 17 men—including two police officers—for a savage attack on a church-sponsored youth group that shocked the country. Five women and girls were raped, and others beaten and robbed during the hours-long attack by a gang of armed men on a group of 90 youths camping at a park on the outskirts of Mexico City, reports AP. The attack, the latest in a series of robberies and rapes in the forest parks that surround the city, was not related to organized crime or drug gangs, according to prosecutors.
