Cheerleader, MSG Settle Harassment Suit

Posted Dec 27, 07 1:40 PM CST in US Sports

(Newser) – Madison Square Garden, perhaps having learned from the costly and disastrous harassment case brought by an ex-Knicks exec, yesterday settled a suit by the former captain of the Rangers City Skaters. The ex-cheerleader accused Garden brass of condoning an inappropriate working atmosphere and firing her for turning down a threesome, reports the Daily News.

Courtney Prince, who filed suit in 2004, was then attacked by the Garden, accused of being "hypersexual" and mentally unstable. The skater alleged that management demanded her fellow cheerleaders stuff their bras and lose weight. The ex-Knicks VP, testifying in that suit, mentioned a book that contained Garden employees' fantasies about the City Skaters.
