(Newser) – George Costanza's political stature just keeps growing. Former Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander has taken to Twitter to voice his stance on gun control, noting that the weapon on the Dark Knight massacre was "a military weapon. Why should it be in non-mil hands?" After that prompted online debate, he offered a lengthy follow-up attacking "absolutists," or "ideologues" who think "they hold the only truth, everyone else is dangerous. Ever meet a terrorist that doesn’t believe that? Just asking," he wrote, according to ABC News.

Jason as bright as his character George.  Give me a break.  We had already forgotten about you prior to this cry for attention.

Actors are paid incredibly large amounts of money to suspend belief THATS IT! They are not magical , They are Tax Paying Citizens First. They have every right to preach with their huge platform. NON MILITARY and NON LAW ENFORCEMENT DO NOT NEED ASSAULT  Weapons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Wait ..."OF THE PEOPLE" celebritys with 85 thousand acres and 20 plus million in the bank like TURD Nugent are for assault rifles so that makes it sane? No one says you cant protect yourself - Citizens DO NOT NEED arms that shoot 30-50 rounds in five seconds??? to what Hunt Deer? SUCH NRA ZOMBIE LOGIC
