When a thief walked into a Long Island pet store last month, he was looking for cash—but when he couldn’t open the register, he settled for stealing a Pomeranian puppy … which he stuffed in his pants. The suspect and another man entered the Zoorama Pet Store together, and the second man distracted the clerk by pretending to be interested in buying a dog, the New York Post reports. Police have now released the surveillance video in the hopes that they can find the suspect, and the store owner is offering a $500 reward for the return of the $1,000 pup.
