(Newser) – Fans of Peter Jackson's Middle Earth flicks are about to have a lot more to love. The director has confirmed that he's going to split The Hobbit into three movies, Deadline reports. Jackson had dropped hints about such a move at Comic-Con. Of course, it remains to be seen how the director will squeeze that much screen time out of the Tolkein classic, which, unlike Lord of the Rings, consists only of a single, relatively short book.

Right cause we need 3 more overly hyped, mediocre flicks with passable acting, drawn out, left out, terribly screen writing that just happen to look pristine and shiny. Seriously the only thing different between LOTR and every other crappy block buster is the whole beloved "fantasy orcs and elves" theme. Else... nothing new. Just really, really good looking.

If he makes it three movies then nothing should be left out

Don't care, as long as it's good.
