It's not all helicopter rides around the Empire State Building and custom-built igloos: Some celebrity proposals are downright awkward. The Huffington Post rounds up five:
- Chad Ochocinco: The NFL star was playing video games when he asked Evelyn Lozada to marry him. His oh-so-romantic line after she picked out a ring: "Alright, so we're engaged."
- Howard Stern: He made Beth Ostrosky strip naked before he would give her her Valentine's Day gift—which turned out to be an engagement ring.
- David Hasselhoff: He's asked Hayley Roberts to marry him quite a few times, including once in a dressing room, but for some reason she hasn't agreed yet.
