Two weeks after needles were discovered in sandwiches served on Delta flights out of Amsterdam, another needle has been found—this time on an Air Canada flight heading from Victoria to Toronto on Monday night. The sewing needle was found by a passenger in a prepackaged sandwich, and an Air Canada spokesperson says the airline is cooperating with a police investigation. Gate Gourmet provided the sandwiches on the Delta flights; no word on who provided the Air Canada sandwich, but Gate Gourmet's parent company did acquire a Canadian airline caterer in 2010—and Air Canada had been a client of that caterer, the Toronto Star reports.
