Security precautions have been boosted and US citizens warned to take care following a threat against Madonna's concert in St. Petersburg tomorrow. "The US Consulate General has received information regarding a threat of physical violence against spectators and performers at the St. Petersburg concert," the US embassy said in a statement. "American citizens are reminded to remain vigilant regarding their personal security, and to be aware of their surroundings at all times."

State Department officials gave no other details. Madonna performed last night at a packed concert in Moscow, and tomorrow's concert will go ahead as planned, a spokeswoman for Madonna told CNN. (More Moscow stories.)
