Hello, Tina Fey? Why aren't you tweeting yet?

"I want to go to there" apparently hasn't included Twitter yet for Tina Fey.   (AP Photo/Matt Sayles, file)

(Newser) – It seems as though every celebrity in the world is oversharing on Twitter, but some notable names remain conspicuously absent from the social networking site, and they're among the ones who would probably have the most entertaining feeds. With that in mind, the Stir lists 25 stars who really need to start an account—or, if they already have one, need to start actually tweeting:

  • Tina Fey could surely come up with some hilarious 140-character declarations. And so could…
  • ...Jon Stewart
  • Beyonce has tweeted just three times since her big April debut
  • The royals are much too decorous for such things, but a Kate Middleton Twitter account would be fab
  • Prince Harry on Twitter would be even better—the drunk tweets would be priceless
  • And how about Kristen Stewart? Just imagine the sad, groveling tweets
  • Natalie Portman would probably link to some great vegan recipes
  • Tom Cruise should consider it: Twitter could be a good place to recruit some new Scientologists…

Twitter has its purpose. I use it to keep track of breaking sports news because it is often significantly ahead of other sources if you follow the right accounts. That being said, I feel following "celebrities" is a complete waste of time as who is to say it isn't their publicist making all their "witty" remarks?

I agree, Twitter is a joke. I think they are smart to stay away from it.

No they don't, because Twitter is stupid.
