Adventure's name may be Indiana Jones, but if big-screen "wow" has a name, it's IMAX. Now, 31 years after it hit cinemas, Raiders of the Lost Ark is coming to IMAX for one week only, reports the New York Times. Steven Spielberg says the film has been converted and its sound enhanced for IMAX, but no effects have been changed. "For me, it’s always been the bigger the screen, the better," says Spielberg. "When the boulder is rolling, chasing Indy through the cave, you really feel the boulder in your stomach." Raiders will open in IMAX theaters on Sept. 7, in anticipation of its Sept. 18 Blu-ray release.
