(Newser) – After years away from a starring role on the small screen, Michael J. Fox is planning a return to prime time. The Family Ties and Spin City star is working with Easy A director Will Gluck and Arrested Development writer Sam Laybourne on a single-camera sitcom launching next year, Vulture reports. All of the big networks are salivating over the possibility of landing it, insiders say. As for the plot, the sources say the show is inspired by Fox's life.

He does not want to fade away. Staying busy keeps him sharp. Plus he loves to do it. I wish him the best.
