(Newser) – Those legal bills must be a killer because Roger Clemens is headed back to the pitching mound, and as something called a Skeeter rather than a Yankee. The 50-year-old Rocket has signed with a Houston-area "independent professional team" called the Sugar Land Skeeters, reports the Houston Chronicle, and will likely play on Saturday. Clemens last pitched five years ago. The Chonicle's Jerome Solomon weighs in on why spectators should pick their jaws up and enjoy the show.
