(Newser) – The seventh time wasn't the charm for John Lennon's killer. Mark David Chapman was today denied parole, in yet another appearance before a parole board. He was sentenced in 1981 to 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder, and has appeared before the board seven times since 2000. In his last parole hearing in 2010, the parole board noted the "disregard you displayed for the norms of our society and the sanctity of human life."

He may have pleaded to 2nd degree murder but what he did was premeditated hence 1st degree murder. That the taxpayers he offended, wounded and crushed the most with his unthinkable act are supporting him. He should have been shot. Chapman not only robbed the world of John's talent but of a father, a husband, thousands of female fan that thought of John as a brother and men who thought of him as a Best Bud. I hope I'm still alive when they let this person out of prison. Pay attention now FBI; I will shoot the son of a bitch before he walks through the gates.

They let him out there will be Hell to pay. No one has the right to kill someone like John. For that matter anybody. Let him rot in Hell, where is the death penlity when you need it.????? & why do I have to pay for his up keep? Belladonna works wonders give it to him some time.

I'm thrilled his parole was turned down. If they did let this psycho out, he wouldn't last 1 minute anyway. Can you say "REVENGE"?
