(Newser) – The news only gets worse for the man accused of breaking into LL Cool J's mansion: Not only did 56-year-old Jonathan Kirby suffer a broken jaw, nose, and ribs at the hands of the rapper/actor, but he might go to prison for life under California's three-strikes law, reports CNN. Kirby has been convicted previously of voluntary manslaughter, first-degree burglary, and auto theft, and now he's been charged with first-degree burglary. LL Cool J, who plays a former Navy SEAL on NCIS: Los Angeles, tackled Kirby about 1am yesterday after his home alarm system went off, then detained him until police arrived.

I bet if it was one of these fake ass "new school" rappers like lil wayne, they'd still be hiding, whimpering in the closet tweeting for someone to dial 911.

This sounds like an episode of "In the House".  No....This story is waay better than any episode I've seen.  The show would've had that little muh fucka Austin accidentally tripping the robber, knocking him out until the cops showed up.  I hated that show, but it was the only thing on at 5:30.  Plus, I was like 12 when it came out, so it was cool as hell.

Looks like the burglar got 3 strikes. One in the nose. One in the jaw. And one in the ribs!
