K-Fed's Pit-Bull Lawyer Can't Wait to Grill Brit

Posted Dec 31, 07 10:15 AM CST in Gossip Arts & Living

(Newser) – Kevin Federline's lawyer is looking forward to deposing Britney Spears in their ongoing custody case in early 2008, People magazine reports. The singer's court date was pushed back when she missed a deposition December 12, citing illness and anxiety, moving Mark Vincent Kaplan to snark: "She was out later that day and night. It's not fourth grade where you get a doctor's note and it's all OK."

"Kevin isn't interested, nor am I, in punishing her," he added. "We just want to get information necessary to proceed further." He dismissed tabloid rumors that the divorced couple's two young sons would have to undergo drug testing, and said they had a great Christmas with their father. "Kevin had all of his kids and it was a big, wonderful family setting," he gushed.
