Posted Dec 31, 07 10:59 AM CST in Sports

(Newser) – Miami will choose first in the 2008 NFL draft—of that there wasn't any doubt. After the Rams make the second selection, the honors will go to the Falcons, who won a series of tiebreakers meant to loosen the knot of four teams tied for the third-worst record, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The full list of the top (or bottom) eight teams:

  1. Miami
  2. St. Louis
  3. Atlanta
  4. Oakland
  5. Kansas City
