The biggest musical event in Martian history is set to take place today when rapper Will.i.am premieres his new song on the red planet. "Reach For The Stars," described as a composition about the Black Eyed Peas co-founder's "passion for science, technology, and space exploration," will be broadcast live on Mars via the Curiosity rover at 4pm Eastern time, reports Reuters. The transmission, which is linked to an educational event during which members of the Curiosity team will explain the broadcast to students, will be shown here. (More Will.i.am stories.)
