(Newser) – A backlash erupted over Barney Frank's comments that Log Cabin Republicans and GOProud members are gay Uncle Toms. Frank doesn't care: He doubles down on his comments and defends them in the Huffington Post. Frank explains that gay Republicans who claim to be improving the GOP's attitude toward LGBT rights from within the party are plain wrong. And they should not be bragging about any so-called accomplishments, such as their progress in reducing the amount that Republicans speak ill of homosexuals or getting Paul Ryan to say he'll "willingly engage" with gay GOP members.

"They are urging people to vote for the anti-LGBT candidate over the most supportive LGBT candidate and platform imaginable because the 'antis' are calling us fewer names and are willing to talk to some of us," writes Frank. "It is this willingness to acquiesce in a subordinate status as long as the masters are kinder in tone, although in substance, that emulates Uncle Tom." Read his full column here.

I love watching you democrats, liberals, republicans and conservatives all bitch and whine about one another. Cling to your parties, the few of us who know how to think for ourselves, will sadly watch as you vote this country into ignorance over and over again.

The Democrats are the pro-crime party. Violent criminals are more likely to aim for gays, the elderly, women, the handicapped so they may rob more easily. The Democrats will oppose punishing "the poor, minority, who only needed it for his drugs." Worse, if the gay, old one, woman, or handicapped, used a gun to stop the young violent criminal, then, in liberal world, they are worse than the criminal. Look at how the media went after the Hispanic Zimmerman for protecting his neighborhood from the hood-wearing suspended student probably on the prowl. The Democrats, with their allies - trial lawyers, the "critical law" judges, the ACLU (Ameri. Criminal Liberties Union) - are a threat to all law-abiding citizens, especially gays, the elderly, women, handicapped, and the poor and honest.
