AP: Nakoula Is Guy Behind Anti-Islam Film

There is no Sam Bacile; Hillary Clinton bashes 'disgusting' video

(Newser) – Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is indeed behind the anti-Muslim film that sparked violence in Egypt, Libya, and Yemen, a US law enforcement official confirms. The AP initially went looking for "Sam Bacile," the supposed creator of the film, and linked that name to Nakoula; Nakoula previously denied he was the same person, and said he managed logistics for the film's production company.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton spoke out today about the film in question, calling it "disgusting and reprehensible" and said it was meant specifically to offend, the AP reports. Even so, she noted, that's no excuse for the attacks on US diplomatic missions. She had earlier denounced the film, but not as harshly.

I have just watched what's on YouTube. It is laughable.  It is a neighborhood little theater group in a hastily produced imitation of a Saturday Night Live skit.  There are places where the dialogue is dubbed so obviously that it has the same effect as the English dubbed version of "Godzilla" ... except the sound continuity is stupidly poor. It is tiresome to live on the planet with a population that seems to exist as a permanent possibility for being offended. Muslims ... the rest of the world is not required to follow the tenets of your religion.  In the West, there is a right called "free speech.  YOU don't have it.  We do.  It means we have the right to say stupid things, things that are heretical, sacriligious. offensive.  You don't have that right.  We do. We are not bound by the rigors of your faith.

Very fishy.  Follow the money wherever it leads.
