Jerry Sandusky was once part of a pedophile ring that included former Poly Prep football coach Phil Foglietta, a man identifying himself as a former child prostitute is alleging. In an email to Poly Prep officials, Greg Bucceroni, now 48, says he was paid to have sex with Foglietta in 1979, the New York Daily News reports. He alleges that the ring also included late Philadelphia businessman Ed Savitz and Wharton School of Business professor Lawrence Scott Ward.
He describes being taken to an event for Sandusky's Second Mile charity 'for the purpose of child prostitution with Jerry Sandusky," but winding up with Foglietta instead—who "was introduced as Coach Phil who coached youth football in NYC." He also alleges that he was abused by Savitz multiple times in the late '70s. While Savitz's pedophilia came to light in 1992, the alleged connection to Sandusky, Ward, and Foglietta is new.
