(Newser) – Hillary Clinton yesterday recounted a bizarre conversation with a Myanmar official on her recent trip there, notes the AP:

  • He "said to me, 'Help us learn how to be a democratic congress, a Parliament. He went on to tell me that they were trying to teach themselves by watching old segments of the West Wing." Clinton responded, "I think we can do better than that, Mr. Speaker."

If the quote has you hankering for the show again, the Washington Post notes that the old gang reunited to make a political ad for the sister of cast member Mary McCormack. She's seeking a seat on Michigan's state supreme court.

It's a 'West Wing' reunion of sorts. The cast made a political ad for Mary McCormack's sister.   (YouTube)

Hillary's wrong. West Wing would be better than her teaching them how Washington really "works". Sadly, they probly do want to learn the fake-but-profitable Dem/Repub way.

Frankly, my dears, I can't think of any better example of how to run a government than "West Wing."  Even we could learn from it -- especially us.
