World leaders and despots alike are descending on New York City ahead of this week's UN General Assembly, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is among them, reports the New York Post, which is so looking forward to the Iranian leader's "annual hate-spewing address" that it put together a special welcome basket for him. That is, a special Jewish-themed welcome basket for the Holocaust-denier, laden with such sure-hits as Gold's Borscht, off-Broadway tickets (to Old Jews Telling Jokes), a Holocaust museum brochure, and a card signed by New Yorkers ("We’d gladly burn your tongue with coffee," signed one woman tenderly.)

For those unsure how to address Ahmadinejad, the Post is here to help: "(pronounced: I’m a dinner jacket)." It continues: "Anticipating the schlumpy, unshaven dictator’s penchant for wearing the same suit all week long, we thoughtfully included “I ♥ NY” undies and a stick of Irish Spring deodorant, to keep the flies away." Tragically, reps for "A-Jad" turned the basket away. (More New York Post stories.)
