'Bulimic' Gaga Strips to Counter 'Fat' Critics

She also bares battle with eating disorders

(Newser) – Lady Gaga is stripping down to her skivvies to take on critics who have been beefing about her new poundage. The pop princess took the bold move as she also revealed that she has been battling anorexia and bulimia since the age of 15. "Today I join the body revolution to inspire bravery and breed some m$therf***ing compassion," she posted on her LittleMonsters.com web site, along with the underwear photos.

The media has piled on Gaga for her "meatier" look lately, and the singer spilled that she has gained 25 pounds, declaring: "I really don't feel bad about it, not even for a second." She's the second high-profile celeb this week to bare her struggles with eating disorders. Katie Couric just revealed her battles with bulimia.

1.  She is on camera and looks normal while having the legs of an athlete.  Cameras add at least 15 pounds, so she looks thinner than this in person.  2.  She just gained 25 pounds, so that means she was too thin and I'm sure she is healthier now. 3.  She is a human being, so she isn't perfect.  4.  She is a great role model because she has integrity.  Integrity is doing the right thing despite the consequences to yourself.  She is honest about things which might hurt her career.  If my wife and I can raise our two daughters to be honest with themselves and others, it will make me very, very happy. 5.  She is a talented young woman with positive things to offer our world. What a lie. Bulimia and Anorexia are serious problems, Gaga's use of these is an insult, then again she is an insult to musicians every where.
