Barnie Frank may have it right on pot, but he was a fracking train-wreck for the U.S. overall.  He was the single biggest backer of Fannie and Freddie, which were the root cause of the housing bubble and bust.  The Dodd-Frank bill is a complete disaster.  It adds tons of cost and bureaucracy to all the banks of the country, WITHOUT solving the problems that will cause the next banking crisis.  Dodd-Frank is like Obamacare.  Lawyers wrote them both and were paid by the page.  Both bills are way too large, are not understood, don't solve key problems, and will simply burden an already struggling economy.   http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/liquidate-fannie-freddie-sheila-bair-rx-financial-system-120907523.html "The hybrid nature of Fannie and Freddie led to disastrous consequences,"         Sheila Bair, former Chair of the FDIC.

Barney Frank is too much class and too much logic for Congress.
