(Newser) – First a French satirical magazine publishes cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, and now Spain is joining in. The cover of the latest issue of El Jueves shows a lineup of bearded, Middle-Eastern men, with the headline "But...does anyone know what Mohammed looks like?," reports the Huffington Post. Jueves' editor said that the cover did not really depict Mohammed but is "a parody of the situation we are experiencing." "If you can’t depict Muhammad, how do you know it is him in the cartoons?" she asks. Spain's foreign ministry warned its citizens in Egypt to be careful, but otherwise is monitoring the situation for now, notes Reuters.

The Spanish humor magazine El Jueves has a cover satirizing riots in the Middle East caused by depictions of the Prophet Mohammed in Western publications.

Come guys.  We all know how revered Muhammad is to the Muslim people.  We don't have to make fun of what he may have looked like.  We just need to understand at what he stood for.  One God.  He the prophet. Now what is wrong with that?  Jesus preached there is only one God.  I know it's fun to make fun of others, I'm no different than you.  We must respect their reverence.  I wish more people in America would be more reverent toward Jesus.  Our values are different than theirs.  They are one people, one faith.  We are Americans with multiple faiths or no faiths at all.  We have freedom of religion.  We cannot instill our values on them.
