Anti-Islam Filmmaker Uses Yet Another Name
This courtroom sketch shows Nakoula Basseley Nakoula (one of his names) talking with his attorney Steven Seiden, left, in court Thursday.   (Mona Shafer Edwards)

One of the reasons the man behind the Innocence of Muslims movie is behind bars today is that he keeps using aliases, a violation of his probation from a 2010 arrest. It probably didn't help his cause, then, that when Nakoula Basseley Nakoula appeared in court yesterday, he changed things up once again, telling the judge his real name is "Mark Basseley Youseff," reports AP. So apparently "Nakoula" is out, as is "Sam Bacile," as is our personal favorite of his pseudonyms as pointed out by the LA Times: "Kritbag Difrat." (More Nakoula Basseley Nakoula stories.)
