(Newser) – If you want to work for the city of Delray Beach, Florida, you better quit your nicotine habit first. A new policy prohibiting the city from hiring employees who regularly smoke or use other tobacco products went into effect this week, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. The decision was made to save money, as smokers can cost their employers as much as $12,000 per year, thanks to costs related to health and disability. Tobacco-using employees who had already been hired are exempt from the new policy.

Holy crap. Even if everything were perfect, the people with brown eyes would find a reason to hate the people with blue eyes. In actuality it's not cigarettes and big macs that mess you up, it's what you believe about cigarettes and big macs that does the damage. If every time I light a cigarette I'm thinking, "This is poison and it will kill me." Then it absolutely will because you've practiced and convinced yourself over time that it's a fact.

Hey box, my post is satire, its sarcasm, it is my effort at a little humor.  I agree with you about alcohol.  I also comment, that yes French wine drinkers do have less heart problems, they also have one of the greatest instances of cirrhosis of the liver in the world.
