China Tech Giants Threaten US Security: Lawmakers

Huawei, ZTE secretly work for Communist Party: report

(Newser) – A House intelligence committee report gives a stern warning about two Chinese telecommunications giants that have been trying to expand their business in the US, and cautions that China could use their devices to spy on Americans. Huawei Technologies Inc. and ZTE Inc. say the claims are "baseless" and threaten trade relations between the US and China—but the report, due out today, mentions bribery and fraud allegedly perpetrated by Huawei. It also claims that China's Communist Party secretly influences each of the companies, reports the Wall Street Journal.

"We simply cannot trust such vital systems to companies with known ties to the Chinese state, a country that is the largest perpetrator of cyber espionage against the US," says Mike Rogers, chairman of the House committee—which urged the US government to avoid using any equipment made by the Chinese firms. The two named in the report aren't the only Chinese companies causing concern among lawmakers, but their size makes them the biggest threat; Huawei is the second largest provider of telecommunication equipment in the world.

I agree with Mr. Mike Rogers warning To US Land Security about no using any communicatin equipment made by China. US today is using trillions of Chinese loans but should not get too trustful as to have confidence in the Communist Chinese State. Chin's super sophisticated communication equipment could be super efined to communicate with secret codes nd frequencies information to a receivng computer of the communist war architects. In addition, if the claims are baseless, then why threaten trade relations. What the Chinese should do is to use a stronger and durable plastic for the eyeglasses that they send to US markets.  The clothing items from China break down after one wash., and it looks as trash.  It is US that should threaten trade relations if the chinese products sent to US markets are not impoved in quality.  US lawmakers b fully concerned not negligent.

I agree with Mr. Mike Rogers warnings to US Land Security about not using any communication equipment made by China.  US today  is using trillions of Chinese loans but should not get too trustful  as to have confidence in the communist Chinese State.  China’s super sophisticated communication could be super refined to communicate with secret codes and frequencies extra information to a receiving computer system of the communist war architects. In addition, if the claims are baseless, then why threaten trade relations. What the Chinese should do is to use a stronger and durable plastic for the eyeglasses that they send to the us markets. The clothing from china breaks down after one wash, and it looks as trash.  It is US that should threaten trade relations if the Chinese products sent to US markets are not improved in quality.  US lawmakers be fully concerned not negligent.
