Since Lady Gaga is in London to launch her new fragrance, she figured she may as well throw on a witch hat and visit Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy. Yes, witch hat. Her visit with the WikiLeaks founder lasted about five hours and they ate dinner together, the Australian reports. A court yesterday ordered Assange's supporters to pony up $150,000 in bail money.
In other Gaga news, we've perhaps discovered the reason she threw up onstage over the weekend: Her parents' New York restaurant, which has already been slammed by critics, was hit with a "C" grade from the Department of Health. The New York Post calls such a grade "barf-inducing." The "critical" hygiene and cleanliness issues included food prep areas that weren't cleaned, food in places where it could easily be contaminated, and hand-washing facilities too far away from the kitchen.
