(Newser) – Tom Hanks' collaboration with Nora Ephron has lasted beyond the grave. The actor, who worked with the screenwriter and director in Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail, will make his Broadway debut in a drama written by Ephron, who died in June, reports Reuters. In Lucky Guy, which opens next April, Hanks will star as real-life tabloid journalist Mike McAlary, who exposed police scandals in 1980s New York.

Unless he's broke, he won't want to be tied to a live performance for long.  I've done regional theater and by the end of a normal 2 month, 35 show run, you're ready to move on.
