Ray Rice knew Ball State had the 99th ranked defense in the country against the run, but the Rutgers tailback probably didn't think things would be this easy today. The junior rushed for a school-record 280 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-30 romp in the International Bowl in Toronto, the New York Times reports.

Rice set Rutgers single-season records for rushing yards (2,012) and touchdowns (24). For good measure, his 90-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was also a school record. “It was his best game,” Rutgers coach Greg Schiano said. The Scarlet Knights (8-5) led the Cardinals (7-6) 24-9 at halftime and Rice already had 112 yards. (More NCAA football stories.)
