(Newser) – A federal appeals court has ruled that Indiana can't cut off funding for Planned Parenthood just because the organization provides abortions. The 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago today upheld the core portion of a lower court order that said Indiana cannot enforce a state law that barred abortion providers from collecting Medicaid funds for any medical services.

Indiana's Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels signed a law in May 2011 that made Indiana the first state to deny the organization Medicaid funds for general health services including cancer screenings.

Thank you, courts, for working against these stupid right-wing conservative moron republicons who should all be retroactively aborted or, at least, have their penises removed and replaced with a vagina. (Balls not a problem, since they never had any.) VOTE DEMOCRATIC FOR A BETTER AMERICA!

Good thing there are all those activist judges out there to counteract the activist governors.

The defunding of Planned Parenthood by Republicans isn't about just about abortion. The Pro-Life agenda isn't just about abortion. It's about control. Like an abusive spouse who regularly abuses, it is all about control. Republicans don't give a rat's ass about the lives of the Poor. They could care less. But, women are the last bastion of control. Republicans want to regulate the vagina like an interstate highway.
