Madison Bumgarner pitched two-hit ball over seven innings as the San Francisco Giants beat the Detroit Tigers 2-0 tonight to take a 2-0 World Series lead. Small ball decided the game, with a bunt in the 7th inning playing a big role in the first run and a sac fly in the 8th delivering the second. Tigers beware: Forty-one of 52 teams to take 2-0 leads have gone on to win the title. Bleacher Report has more on the game here. (More Detroit Tigers stories.)
