Jamie Lynn's Zoey 101 slated for February, Nickelodeon says

(Newser) – Nickelodeon is not, contrary to reports, yanking the upcoming season of the Jamie Lynn Spears vehicle Zoey 101 despite the 16-year-old star's pregnancy, a spokesman told MTV. "No truth to that rumor," Dan Martinsen said in response to stories the completed final season won't begin airing in February, as planned. "We have not made any change to our schedule."

The younger sister of Britney Spears has been lying low since announcing in the Dec. 19 issue of Ok! Magazine that she was 12 weeks along. Previous reports that Nickelodeon would address teen pregnancy on air might be at a dead end. "There is no Nick News special scheduled at this time," Martinsen said.
