Let's say you're a lawyer who's been disbarred and charged with four felonies for allegedly stealing from clients. Could you blacken your name any further? It's a tall order, but Dallas attorney Tom Corea may have managed it. Corea was sent back to jail this morning, after allegedly trashing the office from which he'd been evicted, defecating on the floor, and drawing penises all over the walls, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Corea was out on bail when he was ordered to leave the office by the end of October. When a realtor managing the building showed up, he says he found "complete destruction" including "penis graffiti on every single wall," and feces and urine on the floor. Scrawled on the wall was the name of a judge in Corea's case, along with a derogatory message and a phone number. Corea's girlfriend was briefly called to testify, but prosecutors halted matters when they decided she was likely an accomplice.
